OPS Partnership with Censis Technologies
Tuesday, February 12, 2019
Operational Performance Solutions, Inc. (OPS), a leading provider of process improvement services, annouced today the launch of a partnership with Censis Technologies, the leader in surgical asset management, to provide Lean Consulting services to current and prospective clients. "This is a powerful and important partnership to help bring true Lean thinking, along with the power of Censis technology, into the SPD where together they can make an important contribution to healthcare quality and patient outcomes while increasing efficiency and reducing costs." said John Beakes III, President of OPS.
This new service line will be an extension of Censis' CensiServe portfolio and will offer hospitals expert consulting on sterile processing department (SPD) operational efficiency. The ultimate goal of Lean is continuous improvement through a relentless focus on eliminating waste, and Lean Consulting engagements led by OPS have resulted in sustainable improvements that reduced traveling staff costs by more than $30,000 per month. "We are extremely excited to launch our Lean Consulting services," said Censis CEO, Randy Smith. "Having worked with three of the last five HPN (Healthcare Purchasing News) SPDs of the Year, we know this will positively impact hospitals by improving quality and reducing costs. It will be a great addition to the rest of our CensiServe offerings."
