Beakes earns national Lean Silver Certification

OPS President, John Beakes III, officially received his nationally recognized Lean Silver Certification (LSC) from the Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME), Shingo Institute and Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in early August of 2018. This rigorous certification process includes a written examination, over 160 hours of continuing education and a demonstrated record of achievement in successful Lean process improvement projects.
 
This Lean Silver Certification designation specifically recognizes the ability to lead and mentor a team in value stream transformations, as well as mastery of the Lean Silver and Lean Bronze bodies of knowledge. This certification is widely recognized for its rigor and substance, and it is very highly respected among Lean practitioners.
