Operational Performance Solutions (OPS) was selected by the City of Baltimore to lead (3) Lean Events within the Baltimore City Police Department's (BPD) Purchasing department. These events are designed to look at internal BPD Purchasing processes in an effort to streamline their operations to provide a quicker turnaround time for the officers in their districts. These events offer a lot of potential to support BPD's mission and be able to better provide the front-lines with what they need, when they need it in order to help accomplish that mission. Additionally, these are unique events as they will be the first time that City of Baltimore Advanced Students will help co-facilitate the event with OPS to continue on their path of certification while helping to instill an internal Lean capability within the City of Baltimore.
